Paying tribute to J.J. Sickles
Donation protected
My brother, J.J. Sickles, recently left this world far too early — three weeks shy of his 43rd birthday.
J.J. was actually Jerry Jeff, inspired by the legendary singer/songwriter, Jerry Jeff Walker.
My little brother was mild-mannered, extremely intelligent and an astute fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks and Texas Rangers.
But there was no greater joy in J.J.’s life than his only daughter, Trinity Nicole Sickles. Trinity came into this world under troublesome circumstances, but J.J. — often on his own — tried his best to provide for her.
Now 16, Trinity is entering her junior year at Sulphur Springs High School, where she’s a straight-A student and competitive cheerleader. By taking honors coursework now she's earning college credit, giving Trinity a jumpstart to becoming a pediatric nurse practitioner.
In J.J.'s memory, will you please consider contributing to Trinity’s college fund?
J.J. is no longer with us, but his proudest accomplishment is. Please consider sharing this with others so we can give Trinity the opportunity her father would have wanted.
Thank you and God bless.
(Note: I will be in charge of the funds, with 100 percent of donations going towards Trinity’s education.)
