Paying Tribute to Beau Thorne

Donation protected
On October 17, 2022, Beau Thorne lost his life to complications due to a rare form of Leukemia (Acute Myeloid, AML) just less than a week after his diagnosis. AML is a rapid and progressive form of Cancer that tragically impacted Beau's brain and is what ultimately led to his passing. While this Cancer was tragic and has significantly impacted his family, they want Beau to be remembered for the incredible Son, Brother, Fiancé, Uncle, Dog Dad and Friend that he was to so many.

Beau was a Pediatric Intensive Care Nurse at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He was cherished by many and had a tremendous impact on helping the lives of others. Outside of work, Beau enjoyed spending time with his Fiancé and two dogs within their new home, golfing and playing softball with friends and, more than anything, being surrounded by family.

In honor of Beau, we are asking for donations to start a yearly donation fund that will be provided to a local college nursing student. The family also wishes to use the contributions to create an annual golf outing memorial to celebrate Beau's life and spread awareness of AML to the community.
