Paying Tribute to Bruce Lunsford

It is with heavy heart that we must announce the passing of Bruce Lunsford. Many of you will know Bruce as husband to his lovely wife, Patrice, and father of their three sons, Matthew, Daniel, and Nathan.
The Lunsfords are an active family within the community, and throughout the years Bruce served as a coach for his sons' sports teams while leading, mentoring, and coaching hundreds of kids in the Naples area. He enjoyed pushing his players to be their best both on and off the court and never asked for anything in return. Bruce loved to fish, work on his project cars, and tend to all 120+ of his backyard fruit trees.
Bruce and Patrice were self-employed and owned their own home inspection company. Unfortunately, Bruce was unable to work for the last few months of his life due to an injured shoulder, and the Lunsford family could use some support in the coming months. Any money donated in Bruce's memory will be put toward funeral expenses.

As a former basketball player under Coach Bruce and a close family friend of the Lunsfords, I can personally attest to the impact Bruce had on his players and the deep love he demonstrated for his family. As any former athlete will know, time spent practicing and competing under the guidance of a caring coach is crucial for the development of life lessons that transfer well beyond the confines of a gym. I'm lucky to have grown up around Bruce and the Lunsfords over multiple stages of my life, and I hope this fundraiser can give some peace of mind and security as they begin to heal from this irreplaceable loss.
