Paying Tribute to Damien Duane Bates ❤

Damien, my beloved cousin, was tragically taken from his family on Sunday, May 10, at just 35 years of age. Damien was a man of many roles: a father, son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew, and most importantly a beautiful human being that his family was truly blessed to have. He will be dearly missed by many, in particular his two beautiful children. As with almost any person that is taken so young, Damien's family does not have funds set aside for an unforeseeable tragedy like this. I have taken this step, and on behalf of all Damien's loved ones, to help alleviate the financial hardships that have been put onto us in this time of utter grief. We would like to give Damien the fitting farewell that he so richly deserves for the impact that he has had on all our lives. We love him, and we miss him dearly. It is my hope that we can raise this money to cover costs for Damien's funeral, which is planned to go ahead on Saturday, May 23.
