Paying tribute to Dee Benway
Dee Benway was more than a simple woman. She was beautiful, talented, multi-skilled, funny, kind, loving, friendly, outgoing, and much more! She was also a daughter, a wife, a mother, a "Bama", and a friend.
Over the last couple of years, her health became more complex and her body fought against her. She had many doctors visits, hospital visits, and spent some time in rehab. We were optimistic that we could help her fight to get back to feeling somewhat "normal" again, but this just did not happen. Dee went back to the hospital for what we thought would be a shortvisit, but again, her body was fighting her. On the night of April 6th, her body was just too tired. On April 7th, at 1:01am, God called her home.
Dee Benway will be forever missed and never forgotten. As the family prepares her services and arrangements, they face a difficult task. During this pandemic, planning will be a extra hard on them. Her husband, Jeff, will also be facing a financial burden as hospital bills, rehab bills, and cremation/service expenses begin to roll in. We want to try to make this as easy as possible on him and the family during such an unfortunate and difficult time. If you are able, please donate to help Jeff and the rest of the family make sure that Dee is cared for and memorialized in the way that she deserves. If you are not able to donate financially, please let us know if you can help in other ways, such as food or any other services.
Thank you for your help and kindness.
