Paying Tribute to Elita Diaz

It is with a heavy heart that we begin this account for Elita Diaz. Elita was a loving wife to Gabriel Diaz, sister, daughter, aunt, teacher, dog mom, and the most caring friend. She made a positive impact on everyone she came in contact with. Following the tragedy of Elita's unexpected passing, we are asking for anyone who would like to help with funeral costs, family expenses, and other financial needs to make a donation to help the family during this very difficult time. 

As an outstanding teacher, Mrs. Diaz valued the privilege and responsibility she was given to impact her students' lives positively. She took on every school year as a challenge to push her kids forward and motivate them indefinitely. She fully loved every single student, and she was the kind of educator you hoped would reach your child's heart. An incredible teacher affects you forever, far beyond the classroom doors, and you can never tell where the influence will stop. 

The influence of a great teacher can never be erased, and Mrs. Diaz's legacy undoubtedly lives on through her family, students, coworkers, and friends. As we continue to speak her name, and celebrate who she was, and mimic how she loved, we are honoring Elita's legacy. Our hearts are filled with a sadness that we do not completely understand, but healing will come. Thank you for your consideration and support during this extremely difficult time.
