Paying Tribute to Gary Van Den Heuvel

Dear Friends, Family, and Community,

On Christmas morning, our dear friend Joshua van den Heuvel lost his father Gary after a courageous battle with cancer. Gary was a cherished member of the Crystal Valley community and a loving friend to many. His departure has left a void that cannot be filled. As Josh comes to terms with this loss, he finds himself facing the daunting reality of covering funeral costs, medical expenses, and unexpected other debts.

In this difficult time, we are turning to you, to help us to help Josh. If you know Josh, you love Josh. He is a friend to so many and has been there for us in our times of need. He has walked alongside us to celebrate life's milestones and comforted us when we were experiencing the worst times in life. We would love for Josh to be able to honor Gary's memory with a dignified farewell and for Josh to not have to carry the burden of medical expenses and debts.

Gary touched the lives of many with his infectious laughter, warm heart, and kind spirit. Whether he was hanging out having a beer and a burger or sharing a great story, Gary's impact on those around him was immeasurable.
