Paying tribute to Ngoy Thaung
Friends and Family,
My dearest friend Cindy Kragn lost her grandmother due to COVID this morning. I know it’s such a strange and tough time right now and so much is going on but this family has done so much for their Khmer community and can use our help. Any donations to help with medical expenses and funeral arrangements will be appreciated .This family was highly affected by COVID. They have been through so much and had to make so many hard decisions these last several months, lets help them ease the stress as they lay their beloved grandma to rest. If you are unable to donate, please keep my friend and her family in your thoughts and prayers.
Aug 28, 2020 12:10 pm Ngoy Thaung took her last breath at Good Samaritan Medical Center,at her bedside she was surrounded by her loved ones. She was 72 years old. May 30th she went into the hospital due to COVID, she was than intubated and remained on the ventilator. After 10 weeks of putting up a strong fight, she was stable enough to be transferred to a rehab facility to continue aggressive treatment. She made a comeback, doctors, nurses, therapist in disbelief because of her severe condition. Just last week she was weaned off the ventilator and breathing on her own, eating, talking, laughing able to visit and enjoy the moment with her loved ones as they visit her. Monday, August 24 she was rushed back to due to complications, her kidneys started to fail. She fought a long and though battle these several months. She is now above us all and watching down over her family. She’s no longer suffering and in pain. She was the most gentle and loving spirit. She leaves behind her husband, daughter, son-in-law, son, daughter-in-law 12 grandkids and nine great grandkids.
Due to the circumstances and trying to follow guidelines to continue to stay safe, her funeral arrangement will be private for close family only.
