Paying tribute to "Nyia Kouh Moua aka Money"

Hello,

We are the family of Nyia Kouh Moua.

With sadness and difficulty, we would like to inform you of our beloved brother's passing on July 9th, 2022. Nyia had just turned 32 on June 5th, and was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer shortly after. He was so strong and fought so hard from the beginning to the very end. We had high hopes that Nyia would beat his cancer, but his cancer was just too aggressive.

Nyia was a loving son, brother, partner, and loved one; he was a friend to many, but he felt more like family to everyone he met. The impact he has left is a great one, and we will never forget his kindness, joy, love, humor, and ability to light up a room.

We are raising money to cover the costs of the funeral, memorial services, and medical expenses, as his passing was unexpected.

Funeral/Memorial Services are scheduled for the weekend of July 23rd-25th in Morganton at the Kirksey Funeral Home. More information will be updated as we get closer to the dates.
