Paying tribute to our Sister Jay Santiago

Jay Santiago is a beloved wife, mother, sister, daughter, and an amazing friend to a lot of us.  A big participant, and supporter of the LGBTQIA community.  She would take the shirt off her back to help one of her loved ones.  She is a mom to 4 children, and adopted 3 more.  She recently went with her beloved wife to Costa Rica for her birthday celebration, and part of their plan was to visit some animal sanctuaries as they both are big time animal lovers, and animal rights advocates.  They also visited Nicaragua as part of the trip.  Unfortunately, Jay contracted an unknown disease while on their trip, and what she thought weeks later was just a flu, turned out to be a way deadlier condition.  We just lost her, and we are devastated.  She was only 46 years old, and is leaving behind her wife, and three children.  She is also survived by her beloved mom, her sister,  and her 4 adult children, and grandchildren.  Here is one of our favorite memories where we were going to the court house in New York, which we flew there from Florida, because back then, it was one of the few states that allowed same sex marriages.
 
As you can imagine, most of us don't prepare for our departure from this earth so early, and in this unexpected tragedy, we wanted to have a place to come together, donate what we can for the medical and funeral expenses.  We would like to invite our friends and family, our extended LGBTQIA friends to share pictures of happier times, so that we can all celebrate her life together.  All donations will be directly allocated towards helping this family get through this very difficult time. Jay, you have left us too soon, but you will always be forever in our hearts.
