Paying Tribute To Sweet Little Emily
Donation protected
It is with the heaviest of hearts that we have the devastating news of informing our West Glades Montessori family that one of our own little angles has passed away. Emily Finnegan was a student in our toddler classroom. She passed away at the young age of 2 years old peacefully in her sleep Wednesday October 30th, 2019.
As you know, the cost of funeral arrangements can be such an added burden to a family already in mourning. We ask that you please look into your heart and show your support to this family by donating what you can to help cover some of the expenses.
Emily was a ray of sunshine. She had the most beautiful golden curls. She was always kind and gentle to all her little friends in class. She was so loved by all of the staff, especially her teachers. They recall how much she LOVED water! Emily spent a lot of her mornings over by the sinks washing her hands and working on water lessons. One of her favorite lessons to work on was the farmhouse. Emily loved animals. You would always find her with her stuffed bunny under her arm and a smile on her face. One of our most cherished memories we have is when her dad came to pick her up at noon and she would run and scream down our hall with excitement and jump into his arms.
Emily’s teachers want everyone to know that she always came to class very happy. She freely gave her smile and warmth to all her teachers and friends. Mrs Kabita, said that when she first heard of her passing many thoughts and memories raced through her heard. She recalls how Emily use to always lay down by the classroom door as soon as her father dropped her off, but then a few minutes later would pop up with a smile and start her regular classroom activities. For Mrs Maribel, Emily will live on as an angel, always remembered and in her heart. Mrs Natalia feels honored that she was able to hold her hand. That even in the short amount of time she was with her at the school, she now occupies a very large space in her heart. One day, Mrs Natalia will tell her son that he had an angel as a friend. We all have so many fond memories of Emily that will help us in our grief but will miss her dearly every day.
Emily reminds us all that life is preciously short and we should live it with a big smile.
Thank you so much for contributing what you can to help ease this family’s heartache.
