Paul Alexander Thamel Memorial Fund

Dear family and friends,
Our beloved Paul Alexander Thamel passed away tragically on Father’s Day this Sunday. He had many health issues and after a month in medical care he succumbed to complications at Yale New Haven Hospital. Paul leaves behind his sister, two sons, nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. He left a deep and permanent impression on everyone who’s life he was a part of. He was a man of many explorations including, poker, finance, hunting, fishing, cooking, music, art and much more. He was intelligent charismatic and talented. His family invites you to contribute to the cost of the cremation in his honor. Upon his cremation and cessation of Covid restrictions the family plans to have a small funeral near Twin Lakes, Colorado to spread his ashes. He used to own a cabin on Independence Pass near Twin Lakes where he taught his sons to fish and canoe. That small corner of the world was his paradise and the family would like it to be his final resting place.
All contributions will help to lessen the financial burden of cremation and travel to spread his ashes. The goal is to raise funds within the next 7-10 days. Paul's son Adam will be in charge of final expenses. Any assistance would be welcomed but not expected. Thank you all for your support during this trying time. All members of the family love and appreciate your thoughts, concerns and contributions.
If anyone has any pictures of Paul they would like to share please comment on the fundraiser and someone will reach out to you.
