Paying tribute to Renee
On Saturday December 4th I unexpectedly lost my best friend of 20 years. I will never forget how it felt to hear those words. I could feel my insides sink, my knees too. I sat on the ground against the wall, letting it support me. Unreal. I thought I knew what heartbreak was up until that moment. I knew nothing. This is heart break. The pain in my chest, the ache behind my eyes, knowing that things will never be the same again. I’m so thankful for the memories we’ve made and I’ll hold tight to those forever. She was a passionate figure of strength who never waned I her support or love of her family, and
who soldiered on even when times where tough. Renee leaves behind 3 children, Jamison, Nathan and Serena a and her husband Andrew.
Words often fail us at times like these and Renee’s family needs financial and emotional support right now more than ever. Please please please show your love, show up , say something, do something. Let’s be willing to stand beside the gaping hole that has opened in this family’s life, with out flinching or turning away. Be love . Love is a thing that lasts.
If you know Renee then yo
u know she would do anything for any one of us, even if we didn’t deserve it. She was a beautiful soul and I do believe the world is a dimmer place now. I love you Renee.
Please take a moment to look through
these photos and reminisce on any
memory you may have of Renee, if she
ever made you smile or lit up your life in
any way, please show your appreciation.
