Paying Tribute to Samia Nour

Samia Halim Nour, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to all went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 27, 2023.

In January, Samia was placed on hospice care at home, with her daughter Sonia taking care of her day and night. With family and friends praying for her comfort, she passed peacefully and pain free in her sleep.

Samia’s kindness and generosity extended from generation to generation. Being in her presence meant you were going to be well loved and well fed. Samia was always the life of the party! Her favorite days were spent with her loved ones, eating, laughing, and dancing.

Samia lived an abundant and fulfilling life, from her upbringing in Cairo, Egypt to raising her family in America. She lived each day in gratitude and saw joy in everything. Her kind spirit was constant and contagious.

We will miss her dearly but will carry on her legacy of kindness, generosity, and gratitude.
