Celebrating the Life of Savannah Grace Cavanaugh

Savannah Grace Cavanaugh was born on February 9th, 2017. Spitting image of her Mommy & with her daddy’s gorgeous blue eyes. She was the little girl that Chris & Crista Have wanted for so long to complete their family of 5. With her 2 older brothers Christopher and Wyatt she would definitely be the princess of the family. Back in June 2019 Savannah was diagnosed with a condition called Rett syndrome. From there on we did not know the battles we were going to be battling for the next 2 years. Savannah Grace had to be on 5 different medication just to try to control her seizures. Her mother was her caregiver 24/7, her brothers encouraged and supported her & her dad was the one who provided for the whole family even though it was a struggle at times. In September 2021 Savannah was admitted to the hospital for what it’s still a mystery to all of us. Doctors could not figure out what was wrong with her she was put on a ventilator for 16 days we almost lost her multiple times that month. But our baby girl pulled through it somehow she had the strength to pull through whatever she was fighting. At the end of September we got released from the hospital to go home. That whole hospital stay was such a battle for her to get her strength back we really don’t think she really recovered from that stay. December 5, 2021 Savannah Grace Cavanaugh gained her angel wings. She was so tired of fighting the battle that comes with Rett syndrome. Just know this she DID NOT LOSE THE BATTLE…… SHE WON !!!!! She is up in heaven running, playing, laughing, smiling, talking with her Great grandparents heads off. Everything she could not do here she is up there doing now. It is the most horrible diagnosis a child could ever have. It takes so much from them and it’s not fair. Everyone keeps asking if we need help if there’s anything they can do to help us please considering donating $1, $5 or $10 dollars whatever you can help us during this difficult time that we were not prepared as a parent should never have to bury their own child.
