Paying Tribute to Sharon Palmer Kelley

On December 2020, Sharon was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer. During her time in the hospital, Sharon prayed for healing and guidance. Sharon endured numerous treatment to include dialysis three times per week to improve the function of her kidneys. When released from the hospital in March 2021, the doctor only gave Sharon a short time to cherish her loved ones.

 

Sharon continued to spread love and cheer to family and friends. Sharon never stopped fighting and continued to to trust in the lord. The love and support of her children Kandice, Nicole, Brittney, and Tasean gave her the strength to continue fighting. The fighting was not only for Sharon but her children, and grandchildren.

 

Sharon was granted her heavenly wings on November 3, 2021. Sharon fought through treatments, and medical expenses for the ability to spend time with her loved ones. Sharon put a smile on the face of everyone who was blessed to meet her. Sharon also gave you the message you needed to hear, and not the message you wanted to hear. Sharon loved and cared for all friends and family.

 

For all of those that know Sharon, we ask for your blessing to help the family during this troubling time. To all of the extended family and friends we ask for your help to take some of the weight, and finances off of the children as they process the loss of their mother. All donations will go toward the service and memorial honoring Sharon.

 

The homegoing service will be held on Friday, November 12, 2021, at Wilkerson's Funeral Home located at 102 South Avenue, Petersburg, VA. The service will begin at 1 p.m. The family thanks you all for you compassion and outpouring of love.
