Paying tribute to Steven Taylor Lawson

It is with extreme sadness that we announce the loss of Steven Taylor Lawson. Our beloved Steven recently passed on August 7th, 2022. Steven was a wonderful father, brother, son, and most importantly, friend to everyone. He truly made an impact (no matter how big or small) on those around him. He was loyal, dedicated, funny, outgoing, and driven. And he had the biggest heart. To know Steven was to love him. He is already deeply missed.

He leaves behind two sons, Drew and Ace; sister, Brittney (Jason) Walker; brothers, Nick (Mandie) DeVaul, and Christopher; nephews, R.J., Brady, and Braxton; nieces, Madison, Alexis, Autumn, and Harper; parents, Paula and Dustin; aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, and an abundance of friends.

Steven dedicated his life to being a father, friend, and being a truck driver. He was passionate about his semi, motorcycles, fast cars, traveling… among many other things.

We are all so devastated by Steven’s sudden and unexpected loss, and unfortunately were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service. We want to give Steven the memorial that he deserves, to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes. With that being said… we are currently asking for donations to help us cover the cost of Steven’s funeral. We are hoping to raise $12,000, in order to be able to afford the funeral service we desperately want to give him.

*Also to add- The visitation is on Monday, August 15, 2022 from 6-8 pm. The funeral will be held on that Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at 10 am. Both will be held at Lamb Roberts Funeral Home, in Ottawa, KS.
