On Monday, October 19th, 2020 our loving husband, father, son, and brother Chris Payne passed away unexpectedly in Newport Beach, California while in the presence of his wife and daughter. He was an amazing father and was a loving husband. He cared and put others first in every aspect of life, and sought to make every day a special one for those around him. We, as a family, are still in disbelief of his passing and cannot put into words what we are feeling right now. He was and still is the love of my mother's life. As a father, he gave us everything we ever wanted and needed. He provided us the mindset of never giving up and for us to strive to be the best person we can be. Like he would always say, "If you're not living life on the edge, you're not living at all", meaning that one should cherish every moment and make every day count. He lived by those words during his time here on Earth.
With that being said, he insisted that he be the sole provider for his family so that we do not have to carry the burden. He wanted his children to only worry about their education and instilled in us that we should attempt to be better than those that came before us. We are not ones to ask for charity but he was the sole provider and we are lost without him. We are in desperate need of help with funeral expenses, medical bills, relocating the family across the country, and everyday bills until our heartbroken mother can take over his role. Again, we never ask others for financial help but in this great time of need, anything and everything will help. We appreciate the time you've taken to hear our story and we are extremely grateful for your support.
His son,
Austin Payne
