Payton Kaufman Medical & Recovery

On July 1st Payton and 5 of her friends were severely injured when the car they were riding in hit a tree in Ham Lake, Minnesota. Unfortunately, Payton is still in the ICU and will most likely be here until after her surgery Tues for her spinal injury. she suffered a broken back, six broken ribs and a punctured lung. She has had some very long nights with the amount of pain she is in. She has a chest tube, which will likely stay in place for the next few days. They want her to take several deep breaths hourly to help heal the lungs and prevent pneumonia. Them deep breaths are very painful but very important. She has a long road ahead, but we're thankful she's with us. This is going to be a very difficult time, mentally, emotionally, physically and financially. Payton has had medical insurance her whole life and of all times rite now she doesn't. Travis started a new job 3 weeks ago which means we have to wait 60days to get medical Insurance of course as a healthy family you think no big deal 60 days without insurance will be fine and this happens to Payton. We are so very thankful for everyones continued prayers and support and love.
