#PaytonsPack
On January 27th 2021 16 year old Payton went to the doctor for what they thought was a broken left arm from wrestling with his brother. (Thank God for this) His doctor sent him over to the Emergency Room to get an x-ray. From there their world stopped. They were told there were some suspicious findings on the X-ray that needed further evaluation with a CT scan. After obtaining a CT scan they informed Amber (mom) that he had multiple inflamed lymph nodes throughout his chest and would need to be transferred to Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis. They suspected Payton had cancer and would need a biopsy ASAP to determine exactly which kind. Long story short after many tests it was confirmed that our precious Payton has stage 4 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.
Payton and his family have a long road ahead of them. Amber will need to be off work for long periods of time to take Payton back and forth to doctors appointments and he will be admitted into the hospital for the start of each treatment which is about every 21 days. This presents a major financial burden to them. The last thing they all need to be worried about when trying to save their sons life is how they will afford it. And if anyone knows Payton personally they know how much he puts his families well-being on his shoulders. This 16 year old worked two jobs to help his family. Do you know many 16 year olds that do that?? I don’t! Please consider donating if you are able. Even a little can go a long way. I know times are tight and if you aren’t in a place to give financially we would really appreciate your prayers.
