PBA 309 No Shave November 2023

Tax deductible
Bergenfield PBA 309 to honor Detective Kenneth Otto.

Chief Rabboh will be relaxing the facial hair policy for members of the department who wish to participate. Rabboh believes this is a good cause and wishes to invite members of the community and other Bergen County Police Departments to join in.

All members of the Police Department who are participating have agreed to donate $50.00 each. All proceeds will go to Pancreatic Cancer in honor of our brother Detective Kenneth Otto. Detective Otto died in 2005 from Pancreatic Cancer.

According to the original organizers, "The goal of No-Shave November is to grow awareness by embracing our hair, which many cancer patients lose, and letting it grow wild and free. That goes for women, as well, by letting those legs go natural, and skipping that waxing appointment. Donate the money you typically spend on shaving and grooming to educate about cancer prevention, save lives, and aid those fighting the battle."
