Rebuild The Cat House Inc

The Cat House Inc burned to the ground and was demolished yesterday by excavators. To its employees and customers, this unique little shop meant so much more than a place to buy your cat food and cat toys. It was a place to meet new friends and form relationships to last years to come. Joanne Wegiel started The Cat House 24 years ago and it has been a staple in the Calgary cat community. She has done a lot for many local cat rescues including The MEOW Foundation, LCCR, AARCS, Cochrane and Area Hunane Society and Calgary Humane Society. I am hoping that with this money we can rebuild quickly.  This will help to cover additional costs not covered by insurance  and to help us get new product ASAP as insurance can take a long time to sort out. I am also hoping that with this fundraising, I can partner with Joanne and make The Cat House stick around for years to come.
