Working w/ terminally ill youth, India
Donation protected
In May, 2013 after my graduation I am traveling to Chennai, India to introduce crowd-funding to the children in government hospitals in order to bring basic resources to these terminally ill children. We are working with these hospitals which currently lack funding for proper sanitation, consistent counseling and general stability of services.
As a result of my successful youth entrepreneurship seminar, I was asked to lend a hand for an NGO called CAN-STOP. The seminar I built focused on educating the youth of today about the power of social entrepreneurship, college readiness and life skills.
CAN-STOP (Cancer Support Therapy to Overcome Pain) is a "community based, volunteer organization dedicated to helping people affected with cancer by providing counseling services in a holistic manner to patients, family and friends, conducting awareness programs and screening camps through education and advocacy."
This project will work to combine my entrepreneurial background and education with CAN-STOP's existing efforts to aid children in these underfunded hospitals.
Your donations will aid me in creating a new non profit for CAN-STOP. More over the more funds that I hope to generate will go directly into CAN-STOP to enrich the lives of these children. I ask of you please to help me achieve this goal of mine, thank you for any consideration.
