The Portillo Family

Hi, my name is Xianna. Most people know me by Xi (Shy). I decided to try GoFundMe out to raise some money for our family. We are struggling a bit financially and our daughter, Elianna (3yo), is starting school in September 2023 which will be an added expense since pre-school is not free and we do not qualify for any type of assistance. In February 2023 a pipe bursted in our building causing a MAJOR set back in our finances. We had to replace everything in our kids’ room; from toys to bed frames, mattresses, bedding, clothing, everything had to be replaced. Since then, we have been living paycheck to paycheck and barely able to pay the rent some months. I want our daughter to be able to get the education that she deserves while keeping a roof over her head but I fear that we won’t be able to keep up with the added expense of her school. We understand that times are hard for everyone and things just keep getting more expensive so we appreciate anything and everything that you are able to put towards our goal.
