Help Hinton Family with Funeral Expenses and etc.

Dear Friends, Family, and Community Members,

On the evening of March 20th, my sister Tina and her two children, Trevor and Alexis, faced an unimaginable tragedy. They were simply enjoying a family evening when their world turned upside down. Tina's husband and the children's father, Rob, suddenly collapsed and became unconscious. In that harrowing moment, all they could do was dial 911 and desperately attempt CPR to revive him. Trevor, just 13 years old, bravely took the lead in performing CPR until emergency help arrived.

The paramedics rushed in and worked tirelessly to stabilize Rob, but the situation was dire. Rob had a 100 percent blockage, requiring immediate intervention. Despite their best efforts, he had to be shocked multiple times to keep his heart going. Eventually, he was transported to the Butterworth hospital in Grand Rapids, MI where doctors placed a stent to alleviate the blockage. However, the battle was far from over.

As the days passed in the ICU, the family clung to hope as they received updates on Rob's condition. There were small victories—his heart and kidneys stabilized—but tragically, there were no signs of neurological response. On March 24th, the devastating truth was revealed through a CT scan: Rob's brain was severely swollen, and he was essentially brain dead.

Facing the unbearable reality, Tina, Trevor, and Alexis had to make the agonizing decision to say their final goodbyes to their beloved husband and father. Rob was only 47 years old, and his sudden passing has left a void that can never be filled.

Compounding this tragedy is the financial strain it has placed on Tina and her children. Rob was the sole provider for their family, and unfortunately, he did not have a life insurance policy in place. Now, they are left not only grieving but also burdened with mounting medical bills and funeral expenses.
