Vet bills after our family cat got hit by a car

Hi this is Casper. 23 months and day old we rescued him from a cat shelter in August 22, I am a therapy cat for a 11year autistic boy

He is a lovely friendly well known cat, we mainly got him to help with our son's autism which worked massively.

UNFORTUNATELY Casper was hit but a car this morning once we found him we took him straight to the vets which is where the large bills have came into play, with 6 kids and this close to Xmas we just can't afford the vet bills, we will be extremely greatful, after being completely ripped of by biscot vets at the start and having to pay £1100.00 and then a possible further 10k for the surgery we for a much cheaper place and better ( happy cats clinic ). Where Casper is booked in for surgery in with in two weeks £2400 I am only setting the target at £2400 and full receipts will be uploaded on here for all donators to see once the vet bill is paid

Casper has completely shattered his right hip, fractured his pelvis, and fractured his left leg.

He stayed in happy cats clinic for 48hrs for monitoring and to ensure there was no nerve damage which obvs costs and that has already been paid £300 so sofar we have spent £1400 this close to Xmas and the rest is being a real struggle to try and get. Please any help atall will be much appreciated, I am a fully qualified mechanic so if there is anyway I can return the generosity please let me know.
