Courtenay Needs Help

Many of you know Courtenay Edelhart: she's a single adoptive mom to two former foster kids, Kenya, 12, and Jake, 10, and to this tiny Yorkie, Tiffany, a rescue dog.  Courtenay is an old-school journalist at a real print newspaper that has cut salaries several times over the past couple of years because we're all staring at our computers. She's genuinely strapped, constantly worried that she can't give the kids presents for their birthdays or holidays, yet she's generous, bringing what she has to the food bank, sending old CDs of baby music to friends who are new parents.  Now Tiffany needs surgery -- she suffered a dislocated kneecap, an excruciating condition common in Yorkies. Surgery is at least $3000.   Those of us who've had pets in our lives know they are family members.  Court doesn't want to lose Tiffany, doesn't have anywhere near the money needed for surgery, and really doesn't want the kids to suffer this loss.  Please help.
