Harper's College Fund

Ian Andrew McCoy, 39, passed away at the Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia, on Thursday, May 18, 2023. He was the loving husband of the late Jennifer Biggs, who had passed away on April 10th, 2023.

Born in Norristown, Ian is the son of Cathy McCoy-Morgan and Larry Morgan.

Ian was a graduate of North Penn High School, who went on to further his education in behavioral health and social work. He obtained his Master’s degree from Temple University in 2020. In his free time, he enjoyed being outdoors, and loved fishing in particular. He was also a sports fan, supporting the Phillies and Eagles in particular. Most of all, he cherished the time spent with his daughter, Harper.

Because of his generous nature, and his association with the Gift Of Life program, multiple families have benefited.

In addition to his mother and step father, Ian is survived by his daughter, Harper Biggs-McCoy; siblings James Kenneth Whipp, Matthew Thomas Morgan (Sheri), Jessica Lee Morgan (Steve Bostic), and Aidan Patrick McCoy (fiance Janelle Morgan); aunts and uncles Sharyn Sock, Carol Ann McCoy, Charles Edward McCoy III (Deborah Zamlin-McCoy), Patti Jo Brey, and Jeffrey McCoy (Jody); along with many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at the Trinity Lutheran Church of Lansdale, from 10 - 11 AM, with a memorial service to begin at 11 AM. Burial services will follow at Trinity Cemetery of Telford.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Ian’s name to this gofundme, Harper's College Fund. Ian valued education, and would want Harper to have a bright future with endless possibilities.
