Our story:
In 2008 our lives changed forever when we met Dusty, my husband. He swooped in and turned our lives upside down.
I gained a husband and my Ariel gained an amazing daddy. God knew exactly what he was doing bringing him into our lives. Dusty saved our lives. Ariel Instantly became “daddy’s little girl.......
Our family is definitely one of a kind and so special.
Most people have have no idea that Ariel isn’t Dustys until they hear her last name. By law she still has her biological last name.
We began this journey a few months ago to have Dusty officially adopt her so that she can have his last name and it has been an emotional roller coaster!!
There have been some hurdles that have come up in Bexar County that we were not prepared for. We are at a crossroads. We have exhausted all of the funds that we initially gave our attorney for fees that we would have during the process. Since the process is held up in San Antonio it’s going to be more than expected.
We know that God has some amazing plans for our family and so right now we are taking a leap of faith and asking our friends and family for help and lots of prayers as we continue this journey.
