Ukraine Emergency Appeal

During the month, volunteers of the Association of Ukrainians in Ireland (RCN no: 20070489) together with Medical Help Ukraine worked on a much-needed project - the purchase of a unique vehicle for Ukraine's healthcare - an ARMOURED AMBULANCE.

These types of vehicles are essential in the active war zone, as they save the lives of both paramedics and the wounded, as well as secure expensive medical equipment. Ordinary ambulances are unadapted to the conditions of war.

The purpose of this car is to transport seriously wounded soldiers and civilians directly from the battlefield to the safe area and then to the Nodus Medical Center in Brovary, Kyiv region. Nodus is one of the most modern specialized medical institutions in Ukraine, which provides free treatment and rehabilitation for people with severe nervous system damage.

This type of medical care is essential because it allows the seriously injured to return to everyday life as much as possible.

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we are almost at the finish line. But we still need funds to bring this project to a successful conclusion.

Namely, to cover legal and logistical costs, as well as the purchase of medical equipment and consumables that we will send with the car.
