“Peaceful Mountain Cat Sanctuary”
Donation protected
My name is Michele Klein. My mother, Karen, and my husband, Denis and I have turned our 70 acres into a safe haven and sanctuary for cats that have nowhere to go. We currently care for 46 cats but the number changes often. We also run a thrift shop in our town so we all work to help pay for their needs and our bills. My paycheck goes right to the cats. However, we have a new project that will take a lot more money than we have. We are going to make a fenced in cat yard out of about 3 acres here. It would be specially made so cats can’t climb out or dig under. They will have a large and safe play yard with access to the heated shop and our home. This will enable us to keep giving other cats a place to go that are currently without hope. This is a huge undertaking, but it will make a world of difference here. No more cats sneaking out the door and disappearing. No more ferals wandering away. And it will still leave the rest of our land open for helping other cats who come here looking for food and shelter. No gift is too small. The estimate for the 6’ fence is $28,000 for over 900 linear feet of fencing, 2 drive through gates and a walk through gate. We added extra onto our goal due to GoFundMe fees and ongoing cat expenses. Any donation is most appreciated. Please consider helping us so we can continue helping cats that have been thrown out by society. Every one of them deserves love and a home. Thank you for taking the time to read about our mission. If you cannot afford to donate, please just keep us in your prayers for health, strength and wisdom, as we go about trying to make the world a better place for these guys. ♥️
