Peaches 3rd Eye Surgery

Hi, my name is Alexandria and I am raising money for my dog Peaches who may need to have a 3rd eye surgery. If you know me, you know I don’t like to ask for help. But I’m putting my pride aside because my Peachygirl needs all the help she can get and I will do whatever it takes to make sure she is cared for!

Peaches has ectropian (where her eyelids turn outward and are really droopy) and she’s also had 2 cherry eye surgery on her left eye back in 2021. She’s made great progress in the almost 2 years post op but recently her left eye started bothering her more than usual. I decided to take her to Medvet CLE on July 6th where they diagnosed her with an infected corneal ulcer on her left eye and conjunctivitis on the right eye. Due to so many issues with her eyes, Peaches is very sensitive about them and it can be difficult to medicate or give drops. She is currently on medical management with 4 drops daily on the left eye and 1 drop daily for the right eye. If there is no improvement or her ulcer ruptures she will need surgery. There are 3 possible surgeries that range from $2300-$4100 (one being Enucleation) My partner Caleb and I are both almost maxed out of our care credit cards due to this past visit and also past Peaches Cardiologist visits. We are asking for $2000 to start but we may need more to cover total costs.

She’ll be back for a recheck on Wednesday July 12th and they will proceed with surgery the same day if it’s needed.

I’ve had Peaches since she was around 5 months old, found as a Stray by Mutts in a Rut Rescue. I fostered her for 7 months with zero interest before finally admitting she was already home. She has thrived in our care and I don’t think she would do better with anyone else. Please help us help our Peachygirl. She’s been through so much in her short life and has always been a fighter.
