Peake children memorial fund

While on vacation Eddie Peake, aged 52 lost his life while saving the life of his 14 yr old son.  One of our boys had got caught in a rip tide and Eddie selflessly gave his life to save our son. The photo shows our children, ages 4,7,10,11,13,14,17 and 18 years,   All of the childred witnessed the death of their father just 1 day into our vacation.  The 14yr old is taking this extremely rough for he feels it is his fault his dad died and is having a really tough time excepting the fact that he had no control over trying to save his dad.  The 11 yr old is having a rough time because the day this happened it was on his birthday.  The 4 yr old still believes that daddy is just sleeping and keeps asking everyone when is daddy going to wake up.  They have all lost a huge part of their life and each in their own way is having a difficult time with the fact that they had to witness their dad drown in front of them.

Any proceeds from this GoFundMe will go towards our 8 children's daily care, shelter, food and needs. Eddie's loss as you can imagine has been extremely emotional hard for everyone but also leaves us in financial need of any assistance that can be provided.  He leaves behind 8 beautiful blessings but the burden of now being a single parent to 8 children is quite difficult.

My name is Angela, Eddie's wife of 21 yrs, and I will be using this GoFundMe for the care of our children.  I am working hard at keeping our children well cared for, but as you can imagine the stress of raising 8 children on my own is imense.  We are looking for help to get us back on our feet while we all learn to deal and live with this horrible tragedy.

I wanted to set up this page for any and all who are able to help us during this extremely difficult time. This is why this page has started,. The funds, how ever much they may be, will be used as soon as possible. Any and all help is greatly appreciated in this greatest time of need.
