Help Pearl study art at NYU this summer!

Hello!

I am so excited to share that along with 800 other high school students, Pearl has applied to the NYU summer arts college prep summer program. And she has been ACCEPTED along with just 54 other students!! GO PEARL GO!!

Pearl will be spending a full month immersed in the NYC college art world with art classes, field trips and studio visits to current working New York City artists. She will be able to see what it's like and make big steps in her art practice and exploration. She will live on campus in the dorms, getting a real taste of college life. Pretty cool and informative for Pearl as she is about to enter the 12th grade. What an incredible and important opportunity.

We are so grateful that she was awarded a $5,000 scholarship and family has generously offered to cover the rest of that bulky tuition. What we still need help to cover are additional funds for Pearl's food and personal needs, and travel costs for me to join her at the end of her program to see the group art exhibition and fly home with her the following day. I plan to stay just three nights. This will be my first time in NYC and I'm guessing it won't be my last.
