Help restore peatmoor lagoon pollution disaster
Donation protected
Unfortunately as a result of the recent pollution incident at peatmoor lagoon covered on many news outlets, the lake has lost nearly all its fish stock which had taken over 40 years to get to where it was!
The regrowth process is a hard one so any donations are welcome as these fish had cost the Angling club many tens of thousands of pounds in its existence since the early 80s and there is no way we can afford that as a club to bring it back to its former glory.
We are looking to raise 100.000 as a start to restock species such as Bream, Pike, Tench, Perch,Crucian carp, Rudd and Gudgeon, Roach which benefit the local environment by keeping a good ecosystem in the water, this also benefits the community and Anglers who love to spend their time on the banks of the lake. Also with Fishing now being one of the best treatments for mental health its paramount we have this local space for people to use as it's really benefitted people over the years and we've all taken a huge hit recently.
Thank you for taking the time to read and we thank you for any generosity you can lend.'
