Pectus bracing for lavar

Hey I am bev, I have made this go fund me for my beautiful son called lavar who has autism and suffers with pectus carinatum, also known as pigeon chest. the NHS won't help him get a brace to help push the breastbone back in, right now he doesn't want surgery as he wants to try a brace while he’s able to. The pain of this surgery would be high. It has not been good for his confidence or self esteem, he is so anxious with what he wears just incase others can see it, he refuses to do most activities just in case someone can see. And for a 15 year old boy this is very hard. All I want is for lavar to be happy within himself, too see how much it bothers him isn't nice. Also I didn't want to have to make a gofund me as I'm his mum and should be able to do everything..but sometimes I guess I have to ask for help. I’m a single parent and I work to look after my mum and him. So please if you can make a donation that's would be great, even if you can share that would be great. Please any questions please ask...

Also I am still trying to fight for lavar to get it on the NHS, so we would have to travel to either Middlesbrough or st George's in London...I'll keep you updated all the way. Thank you

Just a update Middlesbrough is seeing lavar as a special case and hopefully after the doctor does the referral letter to them it we should have appointment. So we just need to raise money for hotel and travel for a couple of times.
