PEDAL FOR PEGGY

Donation protected
On Behalf of our Club Member Seamie Leahy, Boherlahan Dualla GAA, Juvenile, Camogie and LGFA would like to help/support Seamies little girl Peggy and the family who are travelling to The Great North Children’s Hospital Newcastle with Peggy in the coming months.

Peggy was diagnosed with a rare immunodeficiency and will undergo Chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant in Newcastle. For this to happen the family will have to move and live in Newcastle for anything up to 6 months.

Peggy is an inpatient in Crumlin Children’s Hospital at the moment. Niamh is off work to care for her and Seamie will have to take time off when the time comes to go to Newcastle.

Like all Boherlahan women Peggy is tough and when the doctor recently asked where she was from her reply was “Well I’m from Boherlahan but I’m really a Tubberadora Lady” She loves Boherlahan as much as her Daddy and she can’t wait to get a pink helmet and to train with all her friends.

Seamie and Niamh will be bringing Peggy’s little brother Lorcan with them to Newcastle and Lorcan is so excited to have his sister play with him when she feels better.

Pedal For Peggy- As part of raising funds for Peggy and her family Boherlahan GAA, Juvenile, Camogie and LGFA clubs will be holding a 24 Hour indoor cycle from Friday 29th March@5pm- Saturday 30th March @5pm in the Boherlahan Dualla GAA Grounds.
