Pedal Power for Javier and Fellow Vets

Donation protected
On May 9, 2024 this beautiful hand made titanium mountain bike was stolen from Marine Corps combat veteran Javier Romo, at the Vancouver VA Recovery House in Washington, where Javier was diving into his recovery from PTSD, TBI, toxic exposure and substance abuse. To Javier, like many other vets, a bike is more than a recreation tool. It is a tool for recovery from PTSD; a tool of mindfulness that helps him escape from the demons that live in his mind.

We would like to take this opportunity to raise funds not only to replace this piece of heaven for Javier but also to make an impact on the lives of other veterans suffering from symptoms of PTSD, TBI, Toxic Exposure and physical injuries by putting them on a life long healing journey in the saddle, in nature and by putting veterans on bikes. We would like to get a fleet of bikes to Veterans in Recovery at the RRTP in Vancouver WA.
