Pedal Sri Lanka for Lady Ridgeway Hospital

WHAT IS PEDAL SRI LANKA? 

In February 2024, our amazing team of 27 friends and family are joining us on a 21-day cycling tour covering 1350 kilometres of Sri Lanka's coastline to raise funds and purchase medical equipment for Lady Ridgeway Hospital for Children in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

I’m Kieran, a Physiotherapist working in Australia. My father, Wesley, was born in Colombo and after several visits to Sri Lanka our family has been inspired to combine our passion for travel and health to support the Sri Lankan community.  

LADY RIDGEWAY HOSPITAL FOR CHILDREN

• Largest specialised free of charge hospital in Sri Lanka 
• Dedicated solely to the medical care of children 
• Only paediatric cardiac centre in the county 
• Approximately 2000 children on the waitlist and 800 operations performed annually 

We have partnered with AUSLMAT (Australian Sri Lanka Medical Aid Team) to assist with the purchase of the medical equipment.

AUSLMAT is an Australian not-for-profit charity registered in Australia and all donations are tax deductible. AUSLMAT has sent more than $10 million worth of medical equipment to SL and have made 29 medical missions providing teaching and training to doctors and other staff in rural hospitals over the past 19 years.
