Hi everyone! This go fund me is for my 9 year old daughter. April 5th we had a brain bleed at school, was ambulanced to Rogers Mercy, intubated after she lost consciousness from a hemorrhagic stroke in her brain stem… was life lighted to Springfield where they put a drain in her head and got us a 4 hour MRI. This is where we found out the mass in her head was a brain AVM in the cerebellum deep down by the brainstem. It’s 5.5 cm in size. Comparable to the size of a large Lime. We were than ambulanced to St. Louis childrens bc the surgeons at Springfield didn’t want to do the craniotomy bc she was so small. Once we got to St. Louis we had an angiogram done and got all the details. She actually had two of them. One small AVF in her left side of brain and the HUGE AVM in the back. The doctors didn’t want to operate here either bc of the size and trauma from bleeding. They said it would probably kill her if they did it… we spent 2 weeks in PICU before we came home. 9 days of that will a drain in her head. We came home with physical therapy and a walker bc of balance coordination issues. We are currently still doing that but NOW WE HAVE A SURGICAL PLAN.

July 8th we go for a embolization stage 1 to try and cut off blood supply. July 22 we will go for stage 2 and than we will be having a craniotomy done to remove the AVM which will have us in PICU for 2 weeks atleast. Her neurosurgeons think that removing the AVM is going to cause all kind of physical problems for her bc of the location. Her dad and I Will have to be taking off work for all of this and out of our income. Any help is help! We appreciate all the prayers! We will keep y’all updated ♥️
