Pediatric Orthopedic Mission: Join Us

Please join HTCNJ in making a difference! We are sending a team of 17 medical volunteers to Santo Domingo, DR, February 1-8, 2025, on a pediatric orthopedic surgical mission. Led by Dr. Edward Nieuwenhuis, Dr. Anthony Delfico, and Dr. Avrum Joffe, the team will screen 100 children on Clinic Day and perform surgeries during the weeklong mission. Serving as a mobile hospital, our volunteers travel with everything needed to outfit two operating rooms and sustain a full week of surgeries. We are raising money to offset the cost of medical supplies that we are unable to obtain from medical clearing houses.

Healing the Children New Jersey is a non-profit that provides free medical care and services to children around the world through three unique programs: Medical Teams Abroad, International Inbound, and Domestic Aid.
