Peter's Celebration of Life

Hello, my name is Rosemary or as many family members call me Birdie. As many of you know, on Thursday March 07, 2024, we unexpectedly lost my father Peter Vargas. Losing a dad so unexpectedly is something unimaginable, and something that will never be healed. My family will never be the same without him, and neither will anyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was so incredibly kind and caring, goofy and fun, and loving and hard working. He worked so hard every day of his life to support his family that he loved so much until his health no longer allowed him to. My father after years of battling with his health is now at peace and no longer in pain.

His passing leaves behind the family that he worked so very hard to support. My father was an amazing girl dad to 5 amazing daughters. Stephanie (32), Maria (30), Myself (28), Lea (26), and Laressa (25) will now have to learn to navigate a life without our father and help our mother, Rosa, who was the love of his life carry on. We grieve for the loss of someone we shared so many amazing fun memories with.

Many friends and family have reached out and asked how they can help us during this time. We kindly ask, if you are able to, to donate funds towards a proper send off for my father, as we hope to carry out his final wishes. All proceeds from this fundraiser will go first to covering funeral expenses, and then anything left over will go to supporting my mother Rosa and my little sister Laressa.

He will be so deeply missed by every single person who knew him, and we hope that the memory of his kind wonderful soul will live on forever. Please keep my family in your prayers during this devastating time, we thank you for all of your support and all of the great memories and pictures that have been pouring in these last few days.
