Pedro (Tiger) Sotelo: Funeral and Expense's

Hi, my name is Destonee and I'm the oldest daughter of Pedro Sotelo.

As some of you may know, my dad, also known as Tiger, unfortunately passed away in the early hours of September 1st. His passing is not only devastating but was also very unexpected.

I honestly don't even have words and truly can not believe I'm having to write this. Losing him has broken me in a way I never imagined. We had talks about his funeral because he was faced with some serious health concerns over the last few years, but I could have never prepared for this pain. I had the unfortunate responsibility of making my dad's medical decisions for him after he was shot. After 3 long weeks, I was ultimately faced with THE HARDEST CHOICE anyone would ever have to make.

My dad was a prideful, stubborn man. And I know he wouldn't have wanted to live a life of restrictions and lack of independence. His body was tired and ready to be pain-free. After just under an hour of starting comfort care/hospice, he passed away with me by his side.
