Peggy and Mark Evers Cancer journey

Hi, My name is Trent Fischer and we are raising funds for some close friends of ours to help defray some medical costs. Peggy had discovered a tumor in her upper leg / groin area in March of 2021. They discovered the tumor was called Myxofibrosarcoma and is a very rare soft tissue cancer. This type of cancer accounts for less than 2% of all cancers. They had surgery in May and removed the tumor after going through 3 weeks of intense radiation. Prior to their trip to Mexico, they had discovered a new small pea sized cyst on Peggy's forehead. They had the doctors take a look prior to going to get married. The doctors felt ok about the small cyst and suggested they go ahead with their wedding plans. After coming back from their trip, they went to Mayo to have the cyst removed but further imaging revealed that her cancer has returned. This is the same soft tissue cancer that was in her groin area but had surfaced on her head and is now inside the skull putting pressure on the brain. They need to go through some very intense chemotherapy and hopes that the tumor will shrink. It is now over the size of a golf ball and is putting alot of pressure on her brain. When this shrinks, there will more than likely be surgery to help get this cancer out of her body.
