Peggy Broke Her Ankle!!!

Hello, , got myself into quite the pickle & as embarrassing as this is, I'm needing to ask for help. I slipped on the basement stairs last night, The Eve of Christmas Eve, and broke my ankle in 2 spots and tore some ligaments. I am new to St. Louis, , moved up here 7 months ago to continue my career after being laid off in Florida. I do not have insurance at my new job yet.

I'm trying to start a new life, already struggling paycheck to paycheck and now this. I will need surgery in the next couple weeks, no idea how long I will be out of work. I'm already $3,000 deep from the ER visit last night. I literally have no idea how I'm going to handle this and pay my bills and continue to eat. Any help would be greatly appreciated & humbling.

Any help given will go to my ability to pay bills and cover medical costs from this ridiculous accident.
