Peggy Cummins Funeral and Memorial Expenses
Those who knew and loved Peggy and wish to donate toward her funeral expenses may do that here. All proceeds will go to Peggy’s daughters to help give her the send-off she deserves.
Burial and graveside services still to be determined. Peggy’s wishes were for no sadness and to throw a party where all are welcome. Details to come.
Please continue to keep Peggy’s family in your hearts and prayers
Thank you
Peggy E. (Gaskins) Cummins, of Harrison, passed away on June 15, 2021 at the age of 58. Peggy was born in Ft. Thomas, KY on August 28, 1962 to Charles and Elta Marie (nee Dawn) Gaskins. Peggy married Gerry Cummins and they were blessed with two daughters, Jessica and Charli. Peggy had the biggest heart and most compassion when it came to all animals (and creatures). She let her talents shine. She was a beautiful singer and music lit up her world. She loved James Taylor, Jackson Browne, Hal Ketchum and Don Williams, but not to exclude a multitude of soft rock and country artists. Most recently, she spread joy and creativity with her amazing paintings. Peggy lived for her family, especially her beautiful grandbabies.
A beautiful soul who never met a stranger. Full of kindness and caring in a way most can’t even fathom. Leaving behind a legacy of love, compassion, gentleness, forgiveness, and always putting others before herself. She loved her family. She was their rock. Her grandkids lit up at the sight of her or the sound of her voice, and her the same for them. Taken from us too soon, with so many memories left to be made.
She is survived by her loving husband: Gerry Cummins; daughters: Jessica (Craig) Kathman, and Charli (James) Schneider; cherished grandchildren: James Schneider Jr., Ella Schneider, twin: Emmie Kathman, Sylvia Schneider, Charli Schneider II, Max Kathman and baby Georgia Schneider due in Sept 2021; Siblings: Charles “Buddy” (Carlene) Gaskins, Greg Gaskins, Lisa Gaskins, Linda (Rick) Gaskins White, Penny (Rick) Hesse, and Chad (Jessica) Gaskins. Peggy is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents: Charles and Marie Gaskins; twin granddaughter: Meggie Kathman; nephew Alex Hesse; sister-in-law: Vickey Gaskins.
