Peggy’s Patella Luxation Surgery
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Georgia and I have set up this fundraising page for my dog Peggy.
Peggy is a rescue dog from Egypt who I adopted from the charity All Dogs Matter in May last year. She is a very loving and resilient dog.
Peggy requires surgery for complex Patella Luxation which is a condition where the kneecap shifts out of its normal position in the groove of the femur (thigh bone) This can cause the dog’s leg to become unstable, leading to lameness and pain. Peggy is currently on daily pain relief medication and is limited to how much exercise she can have. This is heartbreaking for such a young and energetic pup.
Peggy has been referred to Noel (SuperVet) Fitzpatrick‘s clinic in Surrey, a specialist in orthopaedics. Although insured, your funds will help bridge the gap between what we have and what we need. Without this surgery Peggy with most likely have to have her leg amputated within 2 years. This really would be life changing for her.
Peggy and I would really appreciate any contribution, however big or small.
We value every penny and thank you in advance for your help. Updates to follow.
