Help the Pena family with medical expenses

While with her family at home on Friday, June 16th, 2023, Alicia Pena experienced a cerebrovascular accident so severe that medical professionals in Laredo, TX advised that she be immediately transported to University Hospital in San Antonio, TX. Almost instantly, the Pena family went from normalcy to vast uncertainty. As her husband, Jay, prepared to follow, his family and community sprang into action to show their support. After over a month spent in intensive care receiving emergency medical treatment and coping with the unknowns that this severe stroke would yield, by God's grace, Jay and Alicia are back home with their five children. On behalf of the Pena family, I, their niece, am asking for the community's help in raising funds to help cover the resulting significant medical expenses that the family now faces as Alicia continues to recover.
