100 Mile Running Challenge for Penarth Cricket Club Juniors
Donation protected
As a team (junior cricketers, their coaches, and hopefully a few parents!) we're going to run a total of 100 miles around Penarth Athletic Club's boundary path. And we're going to do it wearing our full batting kit of helmets, pads, and gloves!
We're raising money to expand and upgrade our club's dilapidated practice facility (the nets) so that we can train more often and in a much better learning environment.
The club has already raised substantial funds for this expensive investment, and we hope to secure extra grant funding, but we need to raise more money now to turn this ambition into reality before next summer's season begins.
In the photo below you can see a picture of our tired old practice facility alongside the plans for its state-of-the-art replacement:
Our running event starts at 2pm on Saturday 16th November. We'd really appreciate any kind of support that you can offer.
