- On Friday, March 25, my nephew, Hunter Pendleton (3 years old), was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor on his kidney. He was flown to St. Jude Children's Hospital for further tests and treatment on Saturday. My sister, Andrea and her husband, Matt, are with Hunter in Memphis. They have two other children - Henry (6 years old) and Emersyn (1 month old) that are being cared for at home in Kingsport, TN by grandparents and other extended family members. While Hunter's care at St. Jude is mostly provided through the hospital's donors, they will still incur travel costs, other medical expenses from the initial hospital visit and transfer, and possible reduced income. Our hope for setting up this fund is to alleviate any financial burden for Matt, Andrea, and their family so they can focus on Hunter's treatment and recovery. We are praising God for his hand on Hunter so far and for His continued provision and comfort for the family. Thank you for praying and for considering donating to help them during this trying time.
